How we handle the details you share through our enquiry form.
Who we are
Blacksand is a real estate development and management company, part of Alabdullatif Holding Group, with its head office at Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Rd, Al Mathar Ash Shamali, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry we collect the details you provide — your name, email address, and (optionally) your phone number, the city and type of space you are interested in, the project, and any message. We also record limited technical information (a one-way hashed form of your IP address and your browser type) and how you reached the site (campaign and referrer information) for security and to understand which of our efforts brought you here.
Website analytics
We use a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool (Umami) to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, the buttons and form steps you interact with, your browser and screen size, your approximate location (city level, worked out from your IP address, which is not stored -- only a salted hash of it is kept), how you reached us (referrer and campaign tags), the site version you saw, and page-loading performance measurements (Core Web Vitals). No analytics cookies are set, no identifier follows you to other websites, and none of this is used for advertising. When you submit an enquiry we attach only your stated intent (buy or lease) and the project you asked about to that anonymous visit, so we can see which channels lead to enquiries; your name and contact details never reach the analytics tool. For a small sample of visits (about 15 in 100) we also record how the page is used -- scrolling, mouse movement and clicks -- to improve the design. Anything you type is masked in your browser before it is sent, the enquiry form is excluded from recordings entirely, recordings stop after five minutes, and they are deleted after 30 days. Why we use it — and our lawful basis
We use your details solely to respond to your enquiry and to contact you about the property or space you asked about. Our lawful basis is the performance of the service you requested (PDPL Art. 6). We do not use these details for unrelated marketing unless you separately and explicitly opt in.
Who can see it
Your enquiry reaches the relevant Blacksand team (sales or leasing). We never sell or share your details with unrelated third parties. We use Microsoft Azure (cloud hosting and email) and Cloudflare (security) as processors; some processing may occur outside the Kingdom, which you acknowledge when you submit the form.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry records for as long as needed to handle your request and our legitimate business records, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Your choices
Confirmation emails include a one-click unsubscribe. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your details at any time by writing to info@blacksand.sa.
